Coming up with innovative products for
contractors and the construction industry is
nothing new for well-known ESA Fabrication
in Phoenix. So when sanitation and
handwashing concerns came to the forefront
of society a few months a ago, ESA
recognized a need and got to work on a jobsite
solution for the industry it serves.
“Probably sometime in April we started
looking for something that we could build
that would be really relevant and important
,” explained Tyson Gentz, owner and
chief business development officer at ESA.
“We also knew that we would likely have
some of our product sales slip and wanted to
lean forward with something.”
Turning its sites on sanitation needs,
ESA found a lack of good options for the
contracting community on jobsites.
K2 Electric announces promotions to new leadership team
Phoenix, Ariz. – On June 1 K2 Electric
(K2), one of the leading commercial electrical
contracting companies in the Valley,
announced the promotion of Jared Kredit
to president and Matt Kuiper to vice president
.
As part of K2’s strategic succession
planning, Kredit and Kuiper will continue
to position the company for growth, while
founder, Dean Kredit, will remain involved
in the client management aspect of the
business and offer his expertise in providing
solutions for clients.
Jared Kredit has been with the company
for over 12 years and has served as vice
president since 2015, which has prepared
him well to lead the company. As president
he will focus on the systems and processes
for K2 in order to improve operational efficiency
, along with pursuing new market
sectors and geographic regions.
“K2 has been built on our commitment
to operational excellence and our longstanding
customer relationships, and I am
“We saw that there was a lack of sinks in
the marketplace,” said Gentz. “And the
sinks that were on jobsites, if there were
any, were not very awesome, or they were
using just a typical fiberglass sink and putting
it together haphazardly to provide some
sort of wash place for people.”
Options were often not taking safety into
concern, or durability and maintainability.
“There was no product that was an outof-the-box
solution for construction,” added
Gentz. “The question was how to help electrical
, plumbing, HVAC, and general contractors
—anyone that works on a jobsite—
that is being asked to make sure their crews
have what they need to be sanitary and keep
the jobsite as a whole healthy.”
So about 30 days after coming up with
the idea, ESA developed its new ReadySink
product, that ESA describes as, ‘sinks for

brought a high level of technical knowledge
and problem-solving skills to K2 for
the past 17 years. As vice president he will
oversee all construction related activity as
well as manage the entire construction
team. He will leverage this team’s unique
talents to focus on growing specific areas
of the business. Also, working closely with
Kredit he will take on additional leadership
responsibilities allowing Kredit to focus on
vision and growth strategy for K2.
Additionally, K2 estimator, Nick Kredit
has been a part of this team supporting the
growth and strategic changes at K2. He
will be working to put more focus on managing
their long-standing client relationships
and developing new work for K2.
“These men are more than ready for this
role. It has been a pleasure mentoring and
working along-side them over the years,”
said Dean Kredit. “I am excited for the
future of K2 and am very proud of the company
we have built together as a team. I
have no doubt under their leadership K2
will continue to be a top electrical company
in the State.”
